"Club Projects"

 

 

 

The Pilot Club of Eatonton projects primarily focus on local community service projects to support activities in the Eatonton and Putnam County Area with some funding going to projects of the parent organization.

Local Projects include:

BRAIN MINDERS: presentation of a program on bicycle/skateboard safety and distribution of safety helmets to all first graders at Putnam County Elementary School and Gatewood School

FINGERPRINTING: assist PC Sheriff’s Department to fingerprint all kindergarten children at Putnam County Elementary School and Gatewood School

SCHOLARSHIPS: awarding 5 scholarships to high school students at Putnam County High School and Gatewood School

PUTNAM/JASPER TRAINING CENTER CHRISTMAS PARTY: gifts to all clients

FREEDOM’S FOUNDATION: Expenses for 2 Anchor Club members and 1 advisor to attend program at Valley Forge, PA

CITIZENSHIP AWARDS: award to senior from PCHS and Gatewood School

LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR ANCHOR CLUBS

BOOKS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

DONATION TO UNCLE REMUS LIBRARY

4H SCHOLARSHIP

BRAIN INJURY INDIVIDUAL: assistance to family with a brain injury family member

PILOT PALS: provide assistance as requested to Putnam County Elementary School

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS:

NURSING HOME CHRISTMAS SHOPPING SPREE- free gifts for nursing home residents to select for their family/friends/self

VOLUNTEER SERVICES: to Putnam Christian Outreach, Hospice Care Options patients

SHRINERS CHILDREN HOSPITAL DONATION

CIVIC NIGHT: recognition of elected officials

SPRING PARTY: collection of non-perishable food items for Putnam Christian Outreach
